As part of the programs YWCA Richmond has prepared for the Domestic Violence Awareness month, we are offering a free training opportunity for everyone who wants to learn, connect with our staff, other partnering agencies and community members, as well as having a thought-provoking discussion at a confidential and safe space.
On Wednesday, October 21, and Wednesday, October 28, 2026, we will facilitate Domestic Violence Prevention 101 workshops where participants will learn how to identify the most common warning signs of abusive relationships, the cycle of abuse and the barriers that prevent people from reporting sexual assault. State and local resources will be shared at the end of the training.
