As part of the programs YWCA Richmond has prepared for the Sexual Assault Awareness month, we are offering a free training opportunity for everyone who wants to learn, connect with our staff, other partnering agencies and community members, as well as having a thought-provoking discussion at a confidential and safe space.
On Thursday, April 30, we will facilitate a Sexual Violence Prevention 101 workshop where participants will learn how to identify the most common warning signs of abusive relationships, the cycle of abuse and the barriers that prevent people from reporting sexual assault. State and local resources will be shared at the end of the training.
Date & Time: Thursday, April 30 | 3 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: YWCA Richmond. 6 N. 5th street. Richmond, VA. 23219.
