The Young Women’s Leadership Alliance (YWLA) is YWCA Richmond’s young women’s board with members between the ages of 25-35. YWLA is dedicated to connecting, strengthening, and investing in a diverse group of young women to promote personal and professional opportunities that inspire future leaders.

YWLA’s 2022 application is currently closed

Applications for YWLA are open from December to mid-March each year.  YWLA membership terms are two years, and new members start in July.  A Recruitment Meet & Greet for interested individuals to meet with members of the YWLA Membership Committee will be held in September of each year.  If you are interested in learning more about YWLA, please email Nadia Gooray at
