YWCA Richmond’s Prevention team has curated an extensive resource guide called Bridging the Gap. This guide is for young people ages 0-18 and their families, with resources centered around sexual and domestic violence prevention.
Bridging the Gap provides helpful information for understanding healthy and unhealthy relationships, consent, bullying, and online safety.
Ranging from websites, books, podcasts, TV shows, and everything in between, our purpose with this list is to help caregivers and families start meaningful conversations with children and youth around sex education, consent and boundaries, bullying, healthy and unhealthy relationships, and online safety.
