HONORING LINDA TISSIERE: 10 YEARS OF SERVICE

Linda’s 10 year investment in YWCA Richmond has provided the foundation to expand current programs and establish future programs that empower women and eliminate racism.

We are grateful for her work to:

• Create the Sprout School, using a mixed-income model to increase the number of families we educate, expand into infant care, and sustain & expand operations to three locations.
• Transform the 5th Street building into a Center for Empowerment to improve access to resources and programs.
• Build the EmpowerNet, a collaborative approach to regional domestic violence services.
• Create pathways to elevate women’s leadership, including starting the Young Women’s Leadership Alliance & Pat Asch Fellowship.
• Cultivate a financially healthy organization with a strong leadership team to serve the Richmond region.
