DV 101 workshop (English & Spanish)
As part of the programs YWCA Richmond has prepared for the Domestic Violence Awareness month, we are offering a free training opportunity for everyone who wants to learn, connect with our staff, other partnering agencies and community members, as well as having a thought-provoking discussion at a confidential and safe space.
Participants will also learn how to respond to abusive situations and how to support survivors. State and local resources will be shared at the end of the training.
Breakfast will be served and participants will receive an attendance certificate.

El próximo 10 de Octubre (jueves) y 11 de Octubre (viernes), estaremos ofreciendo un taller de Violencia Doméstica 101 en el que los participantes aprenderán a identificar las señales de alarma mas comunes de una relación de abuso, el ciclo de abuso y las barreras que impiden que una persona deje a una pareja abusadora.
Los participantes también aprenderán a responder a situaciones abusivas y cómo apoyar a los sobrevivientes. Al final del entrenamiento, compartiremos recursos locales y estatales.
Ofrecemos desayuno durante el entrenamiento y un certificado de asistencia.
