The YWCA Richmond Outstanding Women Awards celebration continues with our 2025 Leadership Forum Breakfast. A morning for our YWCA community and partners to gather for a light breakfast and panel discussion from past OWA alumni. We are very excited for what’s to come for our 45th OWA celebration.

The 2025 Leadership Forum Breakfast is on Thursday, April 24th at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Ticket prices are $35 each for this event. The registration link is below.

2014 OWA Honoree

As a Senior Vice President at Capital One, Judy held numerous leadership positions across the company, serving on leadership teams for Capital One’s Credit Card and Financial Services businesses, as well as their Human Resources organization. Most recently, Judy was an Executive Coach and held a leadership position on the Central Virginia Market President Network. Fueling her advocacy for developing women leaders at Capital One, Judy was the executive sponsor of Capital One’s Women’s Network for fifteen years and spearheaded the creation of the Future Leaders Forum for Young Women, now a 20 year program focused on developing future talent. Judy recently retired after 30 years at Capital One.  

Judy is a passionate supporter of the Richmond Community and currently serves as President of the YWCA Richmond Board. She is also engaged with CultureWorks (Secretary), Duke Financial Economics Steering Committee and Duke Richmond (Co-chair). Judy’s past Board service includes: ChildSavers (Board President), The Richmond Forum (Board Chairperson), Maymont Foundation (President), Duke Alumni Association Board and Collegiate School Board of Trustees.  

She has been recognized for her business and community contributions by receiving the 2014 YWCA Outstanding Women Award (Business), the 2011 Style Weekly Executive Women in Business Award, and the 2013 Forever Duke Award. Judy earned her BA from Duke University, her MBA from Vanderbilt University, and holds a Leadership Coaching Certificate from Georgetown University. Judy’s family includes her husband, Dave, two daughters, Matty and Becky, one sweet dog and three spoiled cats.
